Saturday, April 23rd, 2022, was a great day of rejoicing and thanksgiving for our community in Racine and the entire community of the Sisters of St. Rita.
Sr. Jana Anne made her Final Profession of Vows before God and the Superior General Sr. Rita Maria Käs at St. Rita of Cascia Shrine in Chicago, IL. In making her final profession of perpetual vows, Sr. Jana Anne made a lifelong commitment of herself to our community and vowed to continue her journey with us in poverty, celibacy, and obedience to God.
Fr. Anthony Pizzo, OSA Provincial of Midwest Province was the celebrant of the Mass. Many of our Augustinian brothers, Sisters from Germany, family, and friends attended the ceremony.
It was truly a day of great joy, and we thank God for Sr. Jana Anne’s vocation to our community.
