The Holy Father received in audience the superiors of the Augustinian Family: Order of St. Augustine (OSA), Order of Augustinian Recollect (OAR), Order of Augustinian Descalled (OAD), to treat, among other themes, the process to make St. Thomas of Villanova Doctor of the Church.

Fr. Alejandro Moral, OSA, Fr. Miguel Miró, OAR, and Fr. Dorian Ceteroni, OAD, presented the complete works of Santo Tomas of Villanova as a gift to Pope Francis. Pope Francis also wanted to know the work of the various branches of the Augustinian family around the world. They also talked about the challenges of the church and the consecrated persons.
