Congratulations to our three friars who were ordained deacons last weekend at St. Jude Parish in New Lenox, IL:   Dcn. Bill Gabriel, OSA; Dcn. Jeremy Hiers, OSA; and Dcn. Sam Joutras, OSA!   All three are planning to continue on to their priesthood ordinations in 2021!    

Sr. Andrea celebrated her 100th Birthday!

On January 19, 2021, Rita Sister Andrea Winter turned 100 years old. The Rita Sisters at the Würzburg Motherhouse celebrated her birthday with a Mass,following a reception with singing and special surprises. Congratulations and may our Lord continue to bless you with many years Sr. Andrea!      

Sr.Katharina Elisabeth made her First Profession of Vows

David Relstab made his first profession of vows

On Sunday, August 2nd, the Midwest Augustinians welcomed in their newest friar as 23-year-old David Relstab made his first profession of vows during a small ceremony at St. Rita Shrine Chapel in Chicago.  Congratulations Br.David!

Br. Sam Joutras, O.S.A. made his lifelong profession of vows to the Augustinian Order. Mass was presided by Prior Provincial Fr. Tony Pizzo, O.S.A. on August 30 at St. Jude Parish in New Lenox, Illinois. Congratulations Br.Sam!
