On February 2nd we celebrate with the whole Church the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord, better known to many as "Candlemas". The focus is Jesus Christ as the light of the world.

He was taken to the temple as a child by Mary and Joseph. There's Simeon and Hannah. The two old people are prophetic people. Despite everything that is difficult and tiring, noisy and frightening in their world, with the eyes of their hearts they recognize in Jesus the one who brings salvation. He is the light, old Simeon says about him.
With Simeon and Hannah we can testify to Christ as the light of the world in our often dark times.
